To promote public health, address women's issues, protect the environment, and support children's education, with emphasis on action in developing countries.

Objectives of the Group:

The Jaklen Muoi Tuyen Foundation is an organization dedicated to positive change in developing countries. The objectives of this group are:

1. To advance the understanding of critical public health issues. To empower communities in developing countries in addressing public health concerns.

2. To encourage freedom of thought, action and spirit among women in underprivileged communities. To facilitate resolution of important women's issues.

3. To protect, preserve, and promote the environment. To enable implementation of recycling and zero-waste management programs.

4. To support education of underprivileged children in developing countries, including China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, and Brazil.

5. To highlight the Critical Path for mental health resources from around the world.

6. To motivate the formation of local groups in China, Bangladesh, India, and the USA, to reach out to larger sections of population.

7. To cooperate with persons and groups already engaged in similar activities.

8. To raise the required human and other resources to achieve the objectives of the foundation.

9. To provide opportunities for individuals based in the US to participate in activities consistent with the above mentioned objectives.

10. To embrace and incorporate, whenever possible, Jaklen's spirit of uniqueness, independence, adventure and world travel.
